What Sanderling does

You tell it where you are going, which days, and what you have planned on each day. It looks up the weather for those dates, then works out an outfit for every plan, a packing list where pieces are worn more than once, and a short list of the few things you would need to buy or borrow. It is built for people who do not have a going-out wardrobe and do not want to shop much.

Getting started

1. 1. Tap Start planning and pick where you are going.
2. 2. Pick your dates, then add what you are doing each day.
3. 3. Check off the basics you already own and set your preferences.
4. 4. Tap Build my outfits. It takes up to a minute.

If something is not right

• The plan is not what you wanted
  Open the Plans tab, tap Rebuild outfits and say what should change, for example “fewer dresses” or “warmer for the show”.
• Your trip changed
  Open the Plans tab and tap Edit plans, then rebuild the outfits so they match.
• A trip has disappeared
  Trips are saved on the device that made them, so a trip made on your phone will not show up on your laptop, and clearing your browser data removes them.
• The weather will not load
  Check your connection, then tap Refresh under the weather in the Plans tab.

Ask a person

Write to hello@sanderling.style with what you were doing and what happened. Sanderling is a small pilot, so a real person reads it.

Privacy

Your trips stay on your device. The privacy page says exactly what gets sent and when.
